How to attribute an image

GSC often reminds instructors to only use images in their courses that are available under a Creative Commons license, fair use, or are in the public domain. (The use of copyrighted images without permission or licensing is not permitted).

The next step in the proper use of images in your course is to attribute the source and the terms of its use. It’s more than just a good idea to give credit where credit is due – it is good modeling for students as they learn how to create works that meet academic standards.
