Patricia Erwin-Ploog is Senior Lecturer and Assistant Dean of Library Services at Granite State College. She has been a long-time faculty member with the College, as well as an assistant professor at the University of Massachusetts, the University of Virginia, and lecturer at Brandeis University.
Her primary role has been as an academic librarian, most recently at Dartmouth College. In that capacity she has led several nationally-funded projects, including the NEH-funded New Hampshire Newspaper Project, a NIST-funded project to develop a national Cyber-Security Digital Library that now resides with the Department of Homeland Security, and Hypertherm Inc.’s first Intranet and organizational learning commons. She has written a number of articles and presented, primarily in the areas of grey literature and knowledge management.
She holds a Masters in Library and Information Science from Indiana University, and a Masters in Internet Strategies Management from Marlboro College.
Over the years she has felt so fortunate to work with Granite State College students. Their energy and commitment to learning have inspired her to become the best instructor possible.
