Scott A. Stanley, EdD, RRT, FAARC is the Dean for Graduate Studies at Granite State College (GSC). Prior to GSC he served as the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Affairs at Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies (CPS). At CPS he was responsible for academic and faculty affairs across the myriad of undergraduate degree and certificate programs. During his tenure at CPS he created several graduate degrees, undergraduate fast-track programs, minors and degree-completion curricula. Dr. Stanley assisted in the development and execution of Foundation Year (innovative first-year college), and curricula for international partnerships in China, Brazil, and Singapore. He served as the Director of the undergraduate and graduate Respiratory Care Programs. Dr. Stanley received his EdD in Mathematics and Science Education from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, a MS in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Northeastern University, and a BS in Allied Medical Professions with a major in Respiratory Therapy from The Ohio State University. His research interests are in web based instructional strategies in post-secondary sciences. Dr. Stanley has served on various local and national respiratory care committees, conducted research, consulted on scholarly works, and served as leader in the development of graduate respiratory care education. He was inducted into the Fellowship of the American Association for Respiratory Care for his work in graduate respiratory care education.
